At SS Brand Rice (operated by S.Ponnusamy Gounder & Co.), we have been dedicated to providing premium quality rice to households since 1966. We understand that getting your food essentials on time is crucial, which is why we partner with reliable national logistics aggregators (like Shiprocket) to ensure safe, secure, and prompt deliveries.

1. Delivery Footprint & Timelines

We proudly offer shipping overall India.

Standard Delivery Timeline: Most shipments will be delivered promptly between 2 to 5 working days from the date of dispatch.
Regional Variations: While major metro areas and Tier-1 cities usually receive shipments on the faster end of our timeline, deliveries to remote locations or rural pin codes may occasionally take up to the full 5 working days.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch

Processing Windows: Orders are packed and handed over to our logistics partners within 24 to 48 hours of order placement (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
Cut-off Times: Orders placed before 2:00 PM are processed for dispatch planning on the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM or during holidays will be initiated the following working day.

3. Order Tracking Transparency

As soon as your order leaves one of our manufacturing units, an automated dispatch notification will be sent to your registered email and phone number via Shopify/Shiprocket.

This message includes a live tracking link and an AWB tracking number.
You can track the real-time movement of your cargo directly through our store's Track Order page or via the link provided in your shipment email.

4. Shipment Damages & Delivery Issues

Because rice is an agricultural product packed in specialized bags, we take extreme care during packing. However, if your order is compromised in transit:

Damaged Outer Packing: If you notice severe damage, tearing, or spillage on the bag at the time of delivery, please take a photo or video immediately and report it to our customer desk within 48 hours.
Undelivered Packages / Wrong Address: Please ensure your shipping address and contact numbers are 100% accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect address details or if the recipient is unreachable after multiple attempts by the courier.

5. Food Safety & Return Integration

Please note that in strict compliance with food health regulations, we maintain a comprehensive No-Return Policy on all consumables. Returns are exclusively authorized if you receive an item that does not match your invoice. In such rare instances, the product package must remain completely unopened and sealed.
